The Epping to Parramatta rail link is something that wasn't on any of the flyers I've received, but was on the websites and in the local paper, The Northern District Times. I found the websites for both candidates a lot more helpful than their flyers. McKew has the better campaign because whilst she isn't as visible, she appears more substantial. There was a "Sorry I missed you" flyer under my door one day from Alexander, and I had a letter from McKew saying she would be visiting, but since I'm at work all day, it was always unlikely I'd see them knocking on my door. I managed to miss both candidates visiting my street. I've only seen McKew once, but she was lovely, asking me what I thought of the election, and actually seeming to listen to what I said. McKew's flyers note that she "loves the diverse community she represents". It's disappointing because his flyers don't say much other than that he was a tennis player who believes in hard work/"real action" and wants to "protect our community's quality of life". I have never seen him actually having a discussion with anyone. The guy was handing out flyers at the train station before the election was called, and have seen him there every week since. Where he lets himself down is that all he seems to do is hand out flyers. Overall, Alexander is way more visible, and he works hard at it. Does not have one, but often uses the phrase “real action”
